Apple Self-Repair now supports iPhone 14 and Mac M2

Apple now supports iPhone 14 and Mac M2 with its own recovery program.

Apple has expanded its self-repair program to include the latest  iPhone 14 series and M2-based Macs. As part of this self-service repair program, Apple is now providing replacement parts, tools, and service manuals to users in select countries such as the US, UK,  and Italy. The company will start selling replacement parts for these devices on June 21st, and will later release a system tuning tool  to help users  verify that the repairs went well.

Apple started a self-repair program in 2022, starting with models like the iPhone 12, iPhone 13, and iPhone SE, and adding select Macs to support repair eligibility. As part of this program, Apple provides users with all the  spare parts and detailed instructions needed to self-repair these devices.

Users who want to repair their  iPhones and Macs can ask Apple for the parts they need, such as displays, batteries, camera modules, and more. Apple will then ship the part to you, and you may return the damaged part to Apple for an additional discount on replacement parts.
Apple currently does not support the Self Repair Program in India. However, he has indicated that he intends to add more markets to the program in the future. Similarly, other tech brands like Samsung and Google are engaging in self-healing programs. Unlike Apple, both brands work with iFixit to provide replacement parts and repair guides to interested users.

New Devices Support Apple's Self-Repair Program:

  • iPhone 14
  • iPhone 14 Plus
  • iPhone 14 Pro
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max
  • M2 13-inch MacBook Pro
  • M2 13-inch MacBook Air (13-inch and 15-inch 6-inch)
