Google has introduced two new features that will bring the  befitting room experience to users while shopping for clothes online. The virtual  pass- on for  vesture  point leverages generative AI to show users clothes on a wide selection of real models. Apart from this, the tech  mammoth has also added new pollutants to help  druggies find exactly what they ’re looking for. In a blog post, Google has also explained how these features will help users.



  “ When you try on clothes in a store, you can  incontinently tell if they ’re right for you. And if they ’re not, a deals associate can change them out for pieces with different colours, styles or price points that better match what you ’re looking for. Before you know it, you ’re leaving with an outfit you love. You should feel just as confident shopping for clothes online, ” the company said in the blog post.

Shoppers in the US can now  nearly try on women’s  covers from brands across Google. These brands include Anthropologie, Everlane, H&M and LOFT. Users can tap on products with the “ Try On ” badge on Search and  choose the model that resonates most with them.

Google says that apparel is one of the most- searched shopping  orders. still,  utmost online shoppers have agreed that it’s hard to know what clothes will look like on them before they buy them. 42% of online shoppers do n’t feel represented by images of models while 59  sense  displeased with an item they safeguarded for online because it looked different on them than anticipated.  As per the company, the new virtual  pass- on tool on Google Search will help users to decide whether the dress is right for them before buying it. Virtual  pass- on for  vesture will show users how clothes look on a variety of real models. 

How it work?

Google’s new generative AI model can a clothing image and reflect how it would  trim, fold,  cleave, stretch and form wrinkles and  shade on a different set of real models in  colorful acts. The company claims that  named people ranging in sizes XXS to 4XL will represent different skin tones( using the Monk Skin Tone Scale as a guide), body shapes, ethnicities and hair types. 

The company has also been working alongside Shopping Graph which is claimed to be the world’s most comprehensive data set of products and  merchandisers. Google says that this technology can scale to  further brands and  particulars over time. 

The company has also promised more options that will be coming to virtual  pass- on for apparel, including men’s  covers launching later this time. Google also noted that it'll add  further ways of using advanced technology like AI to help improve the online shopping experience for users.
