A new look at affordable smartwatches

Nothing on the CMF Watch Pro 2 is as deep, comfortable and beautiful as equipment from retro sci-fi movies, while still retaining its unique personality.

Newly created design

I've always admired Scandinavian watches. They have a classic look but also feel modern. The CMF Watch Pro 2 continues, at least in my opinion, the Danish design tradition; lightweight, functional and beautiful.

Its design is a constant reminder that you can keep things simple and plain while getting great results. I love the rounded design and its brushed aluminum exudes premium quality despite being low profile. Even today, the watch looks as new on my wrist as it did when I first wore it. It is very comfortable and should fit most medium to small wrists. It's lightweight at 44 grams and barely noticeable on your wrist.

This watch is suitable for both men and women as it is softer and less masculine than traditional smartwatches. Its waterproof rating is IP68 and is suitable for daily use. One of the main features that sets the CMF Watch Pro 2 apart from other smartwatches is how easy the strap is to remove – the simple pin buckle design is an interesting option – and can be simply replaced. This allows users to change the appearance of their watch and give it a new look without the need for special tools or professional services. This watch pays great attention to detail and design, and the choice of leather strap (orange or blue) gives it an even better look.

Faster and longer lasting

There's nothing revealing about the chip that makes the smartwatch. But I don't have any problems with scrolling, clicking and swiping. CMF Watch Pro 2 is slower than other watches such as Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch looks smoother, more responsive, and more efficient than the Nothing Watch. However, there is nothing to complain about CMF Watch Pro 2 because its performance is not as bad as low-quality smart watches of domestic brands.

Although there's no mention of 11-day battery life under "normal use," I got four to five days of battery life with the face on normally, receiving notifications, night tracking, and daily activity tracking. Depending on the activity level, I wouldn't be surprised if the watch's battery life lasted longer on normal charging with the screen always off. However, I would also like to point out that the magnetic field on the back of the watch is not as stable as I would like. Cables can easily break if you are not careful.

Health and fitness features

The CMF Watch Pro 2 isn't the smartest device on the market, and I never thought it would be, and there's nothing to suggest it will be. It covers the basics and is designed for beginners rather than health and fitness junkies looking for more in-depth analysis and advanced features. For starters, the watch has heart rate and pulse oximeter sensors to track your steps, sleep, stress levels, and exercise, and it also has built-in GPS, making it perfect for gaming.

All your data feeds into the Nothing app on your phone, where you can view your stats over time. The heart rate sensor improves accuracy during intense tasks like sleep tracking. Since I currently travel to work, waking up at odd hours is affecting my sleep. So I wore the watch for the next three days to see if I was sleeping particularly well. As expected, I had a long day one day and could barely sleep at night due to the constant calls and WhatsApp messages. Surprisingly, my sleep analysis showed that I could not sleep even though I had slept for more than six hours. It's good to see that entry-level smartwatches already have real sleep detection.

An easy-to-use interface and universal connectivity

The user interface of the watch is easy to use. You press the Digital Crown on the right side (it's the only physical button on the device) or use the touchscreen to swipe to see notifications, swipe to access quick settings, and swipe left and right to view your card. weather and sleep. It's easy to press the side button, quickly navigate to the site, and see all the menus in one list. Of course you can choose different faces and customize them, but operating system settings etc.

It won't let you change it. One of the best things about buying the CMF Watch Pro 2 is that you can pair the smartwatch with Android and iPhone, which is not very common. The app itself doesn't have that "nothing" feel; You can view your health statistics, choose a watch face, configure which apps send you notifications, and more.

Bigger, brighter screens

CMF Watch Pro 2 is equipped with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, supports 60Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of 650 nits. Both screen size and resolution provide multiple places to display things like checklists, reports, and watch faces.

The display is easy to read in direct sunlight, which is especially important if you're using the watch while walking or cycling because you'll be spending a lot of time in the sun. It's a normal thing on the device as well, but it's not active by default, which I think is a good thing because it basically cuts the smartwatch's battery life in half.
